Discounts/coupons?

Say, if I had a coupon that said 'Expires May 28,' does that mean that it expires that day--and you can no longer use it that day anymore? OR does it mean that that day is the last day it is valid for use?Discounts/coupons?
It expires at 12:01 am on May 31.

When a coupon say it ''expires'' on a certain day, that means that the day on the coupon is the last day the coupon is still valid. So if the date on the coupon says ';May 30'; then on May 31, it is no longer good but it IS still good on May 30...Discounts/coupons?
When a coupon says that it expires 5/28, it means that it expires the end of the day of 5/28. However, watch out for the time zone difference.

For example, a New York company might set the expiration date 5/28 11:59 PM. However, it means that it is 8:59 PM in California.

To get the discount you want, I think it is better to buy it before taking into account of time difference. Maybe finish your shopping before 6:00 PM your time. Thus, you don't have to worry about time difference.
